Yes, you've guessed,another claimning direct line of descent. My Great Grandfather Hugh / Hew POLLOCK / POLLOK was born 1799, married Dinah c 1826 by this time in Newcastle. My Grandfather Thomas POLLOCK b. 1834, served with 3rd Dragoons, in Indian Mutiny and in Abyssinia, retired in 1877 after 22 years, on pension 2/3d. My father Arthur POLLOCK was with Royal Engineers, at Gallipoli and the Kut. Me you can probably guess.!!!! Who are you voting for???? We the POLLOCKs wish you well, in all you, Coming one day to Mearns, any room at the Castle. My book on my Adventures wiill be ou soon
