Athletics event changes venue

THE AVIVA & UK Autumn/Winter Sportshall Athletics Startracks that was to be held at Mearns Sports Centre, Laurencekirk on Saturday February 4 will now be held at the St Laurence Hall in Laurencekirk on the same date.

AVIVA Startrack Athletics - Sportshall Autumn/Winter programmes consists of participants taking part in a wide variety of athletics activities covering Run - Jumps - Throws - Relays - Team & Individual Events, with many coming along for their first experience in athletics but also participants from our regular R-J-T Groups & Clubs across Aberdeenshire attending year after year.

Participants are coached in their own age groups where possible with places being offered to P2-7 and S1 and upwards. At the end of each of the area programmes all receive a Goody Bag consisting of a drawstring bag containing wrist band, water bottle, t-shirt and cap and results which are taken over the sessions are sent or emailed after the event.
