Bervie Job Club moves to the Church Centre

Are you currently looking for a job and would like some help?

Due to the success of the Inverbervie Job Club and the number of people using this service it has now moved to the Church Centre. It will still be held every Wednesday, 1-3 pm.

Drop-in to the job club where you can get support with writing a CV, job applications, interview skills, telephone skills, letter writing and job searching. It will not only be somewhere to go and do job searches but a number of workshops will be running looking at getting people ready for work.

These will include identifying personal barriers to employment, changes to benefits, what are your strengths and where you can go to get the support to move into work. By looking at your location and type of employment locally, how to apply for work, CV building, local services available and planning we aim to help you identify the many ways to find work.

There will also be information on training courses and volunteering opportunities, and access to the internet to search for jobs and complete online job applications.

If you would like further information before going along to the job club, please contact Suzanne at Stonehaven Community Centre: 01569 762688, or Liz: 07920 782716.
