Following their recent success at the Aberdeen and Northern SCDA One Act Play Divisional Festival competition, Ury players Youth are now polishing up their act before going to go the Scottish Final being held at Stranraer on June 16.

Written by local playwright Russell Adams and directed by Peter Esson, “SPOTS” follows the trials and tribulations of a teenage boy who discovers he has spots the week before the annual school dance.

As part of their preparation the Scottish final, the youth team will be having a dress rehearsal for “SPOTS” on Wednesday June 6 at 7:30 pm at Mackie Academy main hall.

It is an excellent opportunity to come along and support the local drama youth team. This free performance is to give the cast the opportunity to get the feel of a live audience again before the trip down south.

Ury Players are grateful to have received very generous financial support from the Stonehaven Rotary Club and Hess Services together with logistical support from Hays Ships.

So please come along and join them for the dress rehearsal. The show runs for 45 minutes and provides for a great piece of entertainment.
