Legendary motorcycling foodies Simon King and David Myers are prepared to serve up a second helping of cooking, chatting and banter at Aberdeen’s Music Hall, on Monday, November 12.

And tickets to the follow up show to their debut at the city centre venue two years ago, are on sale now online at www.boxofficeaberdeen.com, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre.

“It’s now been over two years since we did our last stage tour, a complete sell-out and one of the best times of our lives” say Si and Dave.

“It’s for those reasons that we can’t wait to do it all over again; only this time it’s going to be bigger, bolder, funnier, and packed with more food and laughs than ever before.”

They add: “We like to do things a little differently to most, which is why we’re not just giving folks a show, we’re giving them a real night out. There will be some cooking, and a chance for some of our lucky audience members to enjoy a slap up meal on stage courtesy of the Hairy chefs.

“Last time round we told you folks story, but this time, we’re taking them round the world - starting with our northern roots, we’ll share our rip roaring tales of decadent dos, big dinners and culinary catastrophes.

“There will be a bit of dancing, a bit of flirting, a bit of singing, and some downright hilarious stand-up comedy. Filled with plenty of surprises, expect the unexpected.”

Aberdeen Performing Arts press manager Joyce Summers says: “The Hairy Bikers’ first visit to Aberdeen in 2010 was a total sell-out – clearly Aberdeen fans have a huge appetite for the Larger than Life duo, and we expect tickets for their show to go faster than hot cakes.”

The stars of BBC 2’s The Hairy Bikers are renowned nationally, and recent highlights include a giant 30-part series on BBC2 called The Hairy Bikers’ Food Tour of Britain and another prime time series called Mum Knows Best, Dave winning BBC’s Celebrity Mastermind and Si taking an admirable second place in the BBC2’s Weakest Link.

Both Si and Dave work in movies and television, but it is their passion for food which has brought them together and made them a household name up and down the country and worldwide.
