the Halton Quartet will play at Woodend Barn in Banchory on Saturday 3 March. This date replaces last year’s postponed concert.
Made up of two of Scotland’s most captivating dous, Angus Lyon & Ruaridh Campbell and Wingin’ It, the Halton Quartet first met on board a boat named MV Halton during the 2007 Orkney Folk Festival and so forged their brand of music which is both traditional and boldly forward-looking.
The quartet is difficult to pigeonhole in terms of a single genre but this makes for an exciting mix of styles. Tickets available from the Woodend Barn Box Office 01330 825431 or at www.woodendbarn.co.uk
