Hipsway’s Skinner back on the road

An evolving collective of Glasgow musicians, based around the music of Scots music veteran Grahame Skinner, are to make their Lemon Tree debut in Aberdeen next week.

After a 10-year hiatus, Grahame decided to return to the stage last year and will play the city centre venue for the first time on Friday next week (February 24).

The impetus for his volt face was a guest appearance with old chum and Glasgow crooner James Grant where they performed Hipsway hits Ask the Lord and Broken Years.

Joining Skinner will be guitarist Douglas MacIntyre, drummer Gordon Wilson and bass player Campbell Owens.

Tickets for Skinner are available online at www.boxofficeaberdeen.com, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre.
