Talented local man Ken Muir was so inspired by the Stoney Jazz Cafe at Stonehaven Town Hall, where he also plays Saxophone with the band on occassion, that he has painted a wonderful interpretation of the afternoon sessions for us to keep.

Colin Edwards, a local musician has written his own composition in support of Mistletoe cancer and it will be played live with the band on the December 18 between 2pm and 5pm, so please come along and hear it.

This month’s Jazz Cafe will have a Christmas theme and the youngsters from Act-show-allez will sing a selection of Christmas songs in the interval. There will be a face painter for the children who get in for FREE.

Also don’t forget there are still spaces available for the Town Hall Trust’s ‘bring a party to a party’ on December 17 where guests will be treated to a three course meal, live function band, and DJ all for £32.50. Funds raised will go towards decorating the upper hall. Corporate and block booking welcome, book at Ma Simpson’s or on line at www.stonehaventownhall.org.uk Events.

Lastly the last Laugh Out Loud comedy club for the year will be on Sunday December 18 from 7.30-10.30pm with an international line up. Members £8 non members £10. A great start to the Christmas week.
