Well we’ve had a bit of a break and have been organising this years events to raise money for the alterations to the Town Hall.

We’re now back and raring to go so please come out and join us and have a great nights entertainment into the bargain.

On Sunday February 26 is Stoney Jazz Café, this is a great chill out zone with traditional Jazz supplied by the Cindy Douglas Quartet, with open mic session for you to join in if you wish. Or you can just relax read your Sunday papers, have a pint or a glass of wine, a cup of tea or bowl of soup, you can even have a dance if you like.

Sessions are on the last Sunday of every month from 2pm-5pm. Tickets £3 concession £5 standard and children under 12 are FREE.

Saturday March 3 sees the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club at the Town Hall, a fantastically fun night out with top grade professional comedians.

This month’s line up includes Paul T Ayres frequently to be found at many of the big comedy clubs around Britain including the Fringe. Headliner is Dana Alexander originally from Edmonton, Alberta and now making her home in Toronto she draws her material from her diverse lifestyle, from her gay friends to her crazy Jamaican family. Also appearing is ex-army bomb disposal expert Bruce Cochrane, after that job the crowd here in Stonehaven should be easy to cope with.

Tickets £8 for comedy club members and £10 for non members, it’s really easy to join and doesn’t cost anything.

Saturday March 17 is Race Night. This is a great fun night out now videos or the like to be found these are wooden horses and you get to be the jockey by pumping a bicycle pedal as fast as you can to beat the other horses.

A great laugh to take part in and more importantly a great laugh to watch. Tickets £8 including Macaroni Cheese served at half time. Bar Provided.

Saturday March 31 is Local Band Night with Fat Hippy Records. Bands are the Lorelei, Brothers Reid, and The Ruckus.

It promises to be a great night of great music from some local characters, high energy and well worth the price of the ticket which is only £5 so come on out and support them. Doors open 8pm Bar provided.

On Sunday March 8 at 2pm Clydebuilt Puppet Theatre Present Peter and the Wolf.

A great show for the family lasting approximately an hour. Life sized puppets acting out the story, tickets £5 or £18 for family ticket up to four people at least one must be an adult.

On Thursday March 26 there will be a Fashion Show with Rainbow Hat and Proper Clobber and various stalls with fashion accessories. Last years was a great success so come along and support us again. Tickets £7 standard £5 concession

Saturday March 28 is the Ma Simpson’s 90’s night where the students from Ma Simpson’s take you for a walk through some of the best music of that decade.

This year it is being run as a fundraiser for the town hall so come along and support the kids and the hall at the same time. Tickets £5.

Sunday 29th March is the Jazz café from 2pm-5pm and Haven Harmonies with Bon Accord Silver band 7pm-9.30pm
