£2000 Cash boost for Home Start Kincardine

Home-Start Kincardine is delighted that they have received £1000 from the Co-operative Community Fund and £1000 from the Tesco Charity Trust.

Senior Co-ordinator, Carol Butler, said: “We really value the support from these local stores, as we constantly have to raise funds to keep our service going”.

Whilst securing funding is essential, Home-Start Kincardine is also urgently looking for Trustees to join the Board.

Jan Horn, current Chair of the Board said: “We are looking for people who have a genuine interest in being part of this unique organisation. We are a very pro-active Board; it is definitely not a case of just making up the numbers. Ideally, anyone interested should be able to give the time and commitment needed to be an active member of the Board.

Home-Start Kincardine is a n excellent organisation, giving free, confidential support to families with young children in this area, and we are very proud of its continuing success.”
