£40,000 worth of drugs recovered from A90 near Stonehaven

Two men are to appear in court today after drugs were recovered from a car on the A90 near Stonehaven.

The drugs had a combined street value of £40,000, half in cannabis and half in crack cocaine. Police Scotland are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A Police Spokesperson said: “Two men, aged 36 and 17, are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today (Thursday 17 September) in relation to drug offences following the recovery of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of £20,000 and an estimated £20,000 worth of cannabis.

“The drugs were recovered from a car on the A90 near Stonehaven at around 2:00pm on Wednesday 16 September.

“Anyone with information about drugs misuse is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
