A CHANGE of venue for the annual RW Thomson Memorial Rally proved a success with the biggest entry of classic motors to date.
More than 200 vehicles entered the event, which took place in Mineralwell Park over the weekend.
It is organised by the R W Thomson Memorial Fellowship in honour of one of Stonehaven's most famous sons, credited with the invention of pneumatic tyre
and self-filling pen.
Classic vehicles of all shapes and sizes gathered in the park for the popular event, which attracts entrants and spectators from across the country. It is the 42nd time it has been staged and preparation are already underway for the 43rd in 2010.
