Fresh from appearing in London’s O2, Buddy Holly – A Legend Reborn is coming to Aberdeen this spring.

Starring Marc Robinson, the UK’s number one Buddy, and John-Simon Rawlings from the West End musical Buddy, the spectacular live production brings to life classic hits such as Peggy Sue, That’ll be the Day and Oh Boy.

Special guests for this sparkling, all-new production, which will hit Aberdeen’s Music Hall on May 19, include the Fortt Brothers as the Everly Brothers.

Backed by a band reminiscent of the Crickets in their Fifties heyday, Buddy Holly – A Legend Reborn is an authentic slice of rock ’n’ roll nostalgia that ensures Buddy’s incredible legacy of unforgettable hit songs lives on.

Headlined by Stars in Their Eyes winner in Marc Robinson, he is joined by the Fortt Brothers, fellow winners of the hit TV show. Real-life brothers The Fortt Brothers are UK’s number one live Everly Brothers tribute. Since appearing as Don and Phil Everly in 1994 on Stars in Their Eyes, they have earned a formidable reputation with their live show, including headlining a Royal Command Performance.

Buddy Holly – A Legend Reborn features Marc Robinson, clutching a Fender Stratocaster, sporting a pair of heavy-rimmed glasses, and sounding exactly like Buddy in his heyday.

Tickets for the show at the Music Hall on May 19 at 7.30pm are available, priced £19.50, online at www.boxofficeaberdeen.com, by phone at 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall, His Majesty’s Theatre and The Lemon Tree.
