After weeks of rehearsals, the staff and children of the Stonehaven After School Club were in great voice at Kirkton Garden Centre last week. Customers were treated to a selection of Christmas carols, some of which included some very energetic actions by the children. The Club was delighted to raise a grand total of £269 which will go towards their ongoing fundraising efforts for a replacement minibus in the future.

Paula Durward, Chair of the Board of the Club said: “Following last year’s carol singing events which were a great success, the kids were really keen to do it again and with the support of their parents, they did a super job. They put their hearts and souls into many weeks of practice and were very proud to be able to do their bit for our fundraising pot. They’re an inspiration.”
