The new TSB bank has opened up in Stonehaven with the first customer having the honours to cut the ribbon.
TSB has gone back to community banking with the opening up of TSB banks all across Aberdeenshire.
Stonehavens branch was opened up by local women Mrs Duncan who had the honour of cutting the ribbon and receving a bottle of wine and some flowers courtesy of the TSB team.
Some 631 branches of Lloyds Banking Group, including all all Lloyds branches in Scotland, have been switched to the standalone TSB.
The new bank will be sold off next year, as part of a process ordered by the European Commission, to provide greater competition.
The sale was a condition of the government’s bail-out of Lloyds, which is 39% owned by the taxpayer.
