Aberdeenshire Care and repair have been holding sessions in the area to provide advice to local residents.
Session are set to be held in Laurencekirk library and Stonehaven library.
Aberdeenshire Care are Repair are funded by Aberdeenshire Council to deliver the Scheme of Assistance. The aim of this is to provide information, advice and practical assistance to homeowners and private sector tenants throughout Aberdeenshire to help them repair, maintain and improve their homes.
Care and Repair are able to provide information leaflets, details of reliable contractors, advice on work required and quotations. They can carry out a home visit if more detailed advice is required about identifying or prioritising the work required.
As part of the strategy, Care & Repair have arranged a number of public drop-in sessions throughout Aberdeenshire, where a member of staff will be happy to answer any queries, provide information and leaflets, and if necessary make further arrangements for a home visit.
A member of Aberdeenshire Care and Repair staff will be available to provide information and advice to members of the Public on the Scheme of Assistance during these sessions.
The sessions will take place in Laurencekirk Library on Wednesday, March 13 between 2.30-4.30pm and in Stonehaven Library on Monday March 25 from 11am -1pm.
