A Castleton Farm manager has thanked customers for their support after she lost her ring in a customers Christmas hamper this week.

Manager Pam Cini eternity ring came off while she was filling a hamper for a customer who had came in off the street.

With no name for the customer, the staff turned to Facebook for help in finding the ring in hope the customer would see it and check their hamper.

The post said: “Our lovely manager Pam sadly lost her eternity ring yesterday while making one of our lovely customers a hamper. This was a rather large hamper made around 3.30, so if you were in a purchased a hamper around this time could you please be so kind as to have a look inside.”

The post was seen by over 15,000 people and the ring was found once the customer had returned to the shop this week.

Pam told us: “Our customers are fantastic and take care of us, and it was great to see so many sharing it.”

The eternity ring had ended up all the way to Deeside, in Banchory, with it due to be returned to a delighted Pam in due course.
