The annual Catterline Gala is celebrating 25 years with a fun packed weekend of family entertainment next week.

Taking place on Friday June 12 until Sunday June 14 there is plenty on offer for all ages.

On Friday evening there will be a Family Quiz Night, with mixed teams of adults and children invited to take part.

A coastal rowing regatta will be held on Saturday morning at Catterline beach and in the afternoon, the main Gala event will take place at Catterline Park.

As well as the traditional favourite stalls, teas, the bouncy castle and the Lucky Duck Chuck, a number of new activities will be on offer.

These include zorbing for children, a dog agility contest, children’s cycle races and the first ever Great Catterline Bake Off.

On Saturday evening it’s dancing shoes on for a ceilidh featuring The Reel McCoy.

Sunday’s entertainment is a Pedal Cart Race, with teams competing to complete as many laps of the course as possible within an hour.
