The local Friends of CLAN in the Community Stonehaven and Mearns are putting their energies into an auction of promises in order to raise money for the charity.
The event will be held at the Station Hotel on Friday, September 12 at 7.30 (entry £1)
This is one of the many events organised by the group to try to raise about £1000 per month to cover the cost of providing premises, therapies, a co-ordinator and other services in Stonehaven for people affected by cancer and their families.
Freda Adams fund raising group member said: “A wide variety of promises have been kindly donated by generous local companies and individuals. You could bid for anything from a photo shoot to a ride on a Harley-Davidson; get some ironing done while you relax and have your hair done; pamper yourself or pamper your pooch.
“You could even eat out at local hotels and restaurants every month for a year.
“Bring your friends and come along to the Station Hotel for a fun night out where you will be in the capable hands of our very enthusiastic auctioneer, Garry Brindley.”
