24 Dickson Memorial Hall, an evening of musical entertainment with The Southesk Strings and Friends Compered by Joe Wishart. Starting at 7.30pm doors open 7pm, Tickets £10 and refreshments included. Tickets available at Hall ( 01561376896) and Michie’s Chemist.

25 Laurencekirk Church of Scotland coffee morning, 10-11.30am, usual stalls,

25 Fettercairn Guild Coffee Morning, 10-11.30am in Fettercairn Public Hall. Entry £2, Donations to raffle, cake & candy, silent auction table and bottle stall would be very much appreciated

24 Mearns Youth Forum presents ‘The Imitation Game’, Mearns Community Campus, Tickets £5, £3.50 concession

25 Kincardinshire Federation Show, Stonehaven Town Hall 10am-4pm.

2 Auchenblae Silent Auction and White Elephant Extravaganza from 11am-2pm. £1 entry charge includes personal ‘bid’ number and complimentary coffee. Soup and Sweet Lunches £4.00

9 Laurencekirk hanging basket coffee morning. Masonic Hall 10-11.30am

13 Laurencekirk Senior Citizens, St Laurence Hall, all welcome.

18 7pm Auchenblae Heritage Society. A visit to St. Palladius Chapel in the churchyard and St Palladius Well in the former Manse grounds.
