Stonehaven’s Farmer and Produce Market takes place next Saturday with a plenty on offer at the event.

At the Market Square from 9am-1pm there will be a variety of stall holders as well as a cookery demonstrations.

Since its inception in April 2005 Stonehaven Farmers’ and Produce Market continues to blossom and is a much anticipated and looked forward to event by all gourmets and lovers of good fresh local produce.

Indulge your passion for local produce and visit the Stonehaven Farmers’ Market where local food producers and growers take pride in bringing high quality Aberdeenshire produce.

There cookery demonstration will be using ingredients from the stallholders, by Mark Howard, senior chef at the Carron Restaurant, Stonehaven. Mark has worked for the last few years at Caramelised Events with Lee Soutar and Charlotte Wilson who re-opened the Art Deco Carron Restaurant in July.

Stonehaven Farmers’ Market offers a positive friendly shopping experience featuring a wonderful selection of mouth-watering local produce with an emphasis on freshness, quality and value for money.

Regular stallholders provide a wonderful feast of locally-reared meats, delicious dairy products, superb cheeses, artisan breads, fruit juices, yummy cakes, handmade tablet, preserves, fresh local veg and fruit, a succulent seafood selection, organic products, Scottish whisky, wines and ciders and Mexican food.
