Class B drugs were found in Stonehaven after police executed warrants in the area which saw three people arrested.
The trio appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday July 10, in relation to drug offences after CID and Proactive Unit officers executed two drug search warrants in town on Tuesday, July 9.
The warrants were for properties in the Allardice Street and Brickfield Road areas of Stonehaven.
Class B drugs with an estimated low-four figure value were seized along with a mid-four figure sum of cash.
A man aged 25 and a 21-year-old woman appeared at court in relation to being concerned in the supply and possession of a controlled drug.
A 27-year-old man appeared in the court in connection with being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.
Sergeant Richard Taylor said: “We take anti-social behaviour such as drug dealing seriously.
‘‘I am grateful to the members of the public for providing information to us so that we can continue to tackle those who abuse drugs.”
Reaction to the news on Facebook has been positive that police have managed to get the drugs off the streets of Stonehaven.
