Police appeal for information after theft from shed

Police are appealing for information after a house in the Mearns had its shed broken into.

A property in Wishart Court, Laurencekirk, had their shed broken into on Tuesday of last week, with police saying ‘several’ tools were stolen from the location.

The tools were then used to try to gain access to a house nearby.

“The housebreaking is believed to have happened between 6 and 6.30pm on Tuesday, December 9, where a shed was broken into and several building tools were stolen.

“These items were then used in an attempt to enter a neighbouring property.
