Some of the dancers from The Lindsay School of Dancing will be taking part in The International Gathering of Scottish Highland Dance in Disneyland Paris in November this year.

Fundraising is well underway to help pay for costumes along with other costs and some events have already taken place including a car wash, Christmas fayre and a family quiz night.

On Saturday April 11 a coffee morning was held at Stonehaven town hall, where many of the locals turned out to support the dancers. They were served tea, coffee and cakes while being entertained by the dancers putting on a display. Other events to take place include a race night and bag packing.

The Lindsay School of Dancing girls are a busy bunch, as well as all of their fundraising they have been dancing their hearts out entertaining hundredds of people in their 2015 dance show ‘Pop, Rock and Bagpipes’ which was performed in both Stonehaven and Laurencekirk in March.
