A group of youths in a Kincardineshire school took part in a project where they learned how to establish their own business.
The P3 class at Bervie Primary School, Inverbervie, had been working hard all term to create ‘Snack is Back’.
They did everything involved in the upstart and running of a company, including recruitment, branding, market research, advertising, buying, preparing and food hygiene.
This work culminated with them making and selling ‘energy balls’ and fruit smoothies to other pupils at break time on Friday, June 24 and they raised £108. Taking costs into account, they made a £69.23 profit.
Bervie Cleaners invested £30 into the company to help them start .
