Bervie School organised a World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for the local community to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday September 26.
Mr Les Robertson from Kondit was the judge of our ‘design a cake’ competition and very kindly donated the prizes – the winning designs made into two delicious cakes and a voucher for the Kondit coffee shop. Lyla Siliwoniuk (P3) and Katie Mitchell (p4) were the lucky winners!
The most popular activity of the day was a vote to ‘Pie the Teacher’ where children could pay to vote as many times as they liked for the teacher they would like to see get a cream pie in the face. The unlucky winner was Miss Madden who was a very good sport and took the pie for a good cause.
The total raised for Macmillan Cancer Support so far is £770.19 with more donations still to come.
