A planning application has been submitted to Aberdeenshire Council for wind turbines to be built between Stonehaven and Muchalls. The two turbines are planned to be erected on land North West of Logie, which lies North West of the first entrance slip road off the A90 into Stonehaven.
The turbines are planned to be 32 metres to the hub and 45.5 metres to the blade tip. The proposed area of land is near the area compromising of Limpet Wood, Limpet Burn and the Logie Trout Fishery and also near Logie Farm.
The application was received on Monday 14 May from Cumbernauld renewable energy company 1 Stop Renewables and so far no comments or objections have been made.
