Family says thank you as Milo is returned

Milo a two-year-old Maltese cross Bichon, has been reunited with his family following a social media campaign to spread the word.

Over 2000 people liked the ‘Please help find Milo’ page on Facebook which saw the owner, Jackie Dabell, and family share their story.

The family were contacted by a woman later on the Sunday who said she had him but Milo, was never returned to the family.

He escaped from the family garden in Benholm last Sunday ,with the family frantically searching for him.

The Mearns Leader shared the story on our facebook on Monday to try and help reunited Milo with his family.

A post on the ‘Please help find Milo’ facebook page on Wednesday afternoon shared the good news that Milo had been found.

It said: “Everyone, I have the best news ever. Milo is where he belongs and home. Can I just thank each and everyone of you! We couldn’t have done it without you guys! Am sure my mum will make a post when she gets back home after Milo gets lots of love and hug.”
