Stonehaven Lions had a refreshing social outing last week as Robert Lindsay showed them round his Six Degrees North Brewery and explained the art of making Belgian beers.
Back at the Marine Hotel a few samples of the local brews were taken and all agreed it was great to taste some locally-brewed beers.
They were a welcome relief to the Lions who have been hard at work organising this years Feein’ Market which again traditionally takes place on the first Saturday in June, which will be the 7th.
Stalls have been checked, entertainers booked and applications made to ensure another great programme of events is laid on for the town to kick off the summer.
The senior citizens of Stonehaven also enjoyed a great night of free music, dance and banter .
A Lions member said: “Feet were tapping and hands were clapping to the varied entertainment laid on throughout the evening. “
