Stonehaven residents enjoyed a great night out at the recent Stonehaven Flood Action Ceilidh at the Town Hall. 160 revellers danced all night to the music of Cabrach and friends who put on a great show. They also enjoyed a wonderful variety of excellent local produce, kindly donated by Cambus of May Cheese, Ross the Baker, Olah Oils, Castleton Farm, Mackies, Burnside Brewery, The Royal Hotel and Co-op Allardice Street.
The evening raised over £4,000 from ticket sales, raffle, auction and from a very busy bar! Local businesses kindly donated vouchers and prizes for the raffle and auction.
The Stonehaven Flood Action calendar sold well during the evening and continues to be available from many local outlets.
All monies raised are going towards the Stonehaven Flood Action Groups, resilience project to assist residents in the flood effected area in protecting their own homes.
