Fraserburgh Vintage Car Rally 2015 Slideshow

Visitors from across the North-east turned out in their thousands for the Vintage Car Rally held in Fraserburgh on Sunday.

Staged at the town’s leisure centre, it featured a fantastic array of vintage cars, buses, bicycles, motorbikes, lorries and army vehicles.

In addition, there was also a craft fair and refreshments inside the Leisure Centre, with inflatable fun for wee ones outside.

The 1st Boys Brigade Bugle Band performed outside during the afternoon and, just after 2pm, the ‘On the Edge’ stunt team wowed the crowds.

Another highlight included a unique wood-carving demonstration, which attracted a large crowd of onlookers.

Organiser James Gray said: “Considering the weather forecast, I think the rally went very well.

“The majority of entrants turned up and there was a big pick up in late entries.

“The weather affected one or two of the children’s activities but, apart from that, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

“There was a lot of activity inside and out and a fair bit of reminiscing, which was great to hear.

“We’d like to extend our thanks to all the exhibitors, leisure centre staff and all those who gave their time in assisting the event.”
