Local charities are being invited to a funding advice surgery being held by Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland on Tuesday October 30.
The Foundation is particularly keen to hear from charities working in Aberdeen and the surrounding areas which benefit disadvantaged people in our society and which are looking for funding.
The advice surgery will provide a chance for representatives of registered charities to discuss potential projects towards which the Foundation may be able to provide financial support.
Foundation staff will give tips on filling in the application form and advice on the kind of projects that may be funded. One-to-one appointments with a member of the Foundation’s staff are available at the Inchgarth Community Centre.
Mary Craig OBE, the Foundation’s Chief Executive, said: “Coming to speak to us about a potential application is a great way of finding out how we can help and of making sure charities understand our application process. The next deadline for applications to our Henry Duncan Awards programme is 19th November, so this funding surgery is the perfect opportunity to get some advice and still have time to apply.”
To make a 45-minute appointment for a one-to-one consultation with one of the Foundation’s staff it is necessary to book in advance by calling 0131 444 4020.
