WITH the RNLI currently establishing a new lifeboat station in Stonehaven, the local fundraising branch are looking to recruit new members to help with raising money for the chairty.
They are hoping to welcome anyone who would be willing to help raise funds for the RNLI, a vital life-saving organisation.
The group have several activities already planned in the coming months.
On Saturday, May 11, they will be holding a coffee morning is St Bridget’s Hall from 10 until noon.
They will also have a tea and coffee bar at the popular Feein’ Market on June 1 and are planning a ‘‘Plainstones’’ sale and Flag Day for July 6.

The Institute is setting up a lifeboat in Stonehaven folllowing the closure of the Maritine Rescue Institute in the town.
Earlier this month, the RNLI unveiled plans to establish a trial station in the town with an Atlantic 85 lifeboat .
Aim is to open the station in July after which the RNLI will monitor the volunteer commitment and the number and type of incidents attended.
A decision on the long-term future of what would be Scotland’s 47th lifeboat station will be taken at a later date.
A number of residents have shown interest in providing crew and support for the lifeboat.
