The festive season kicks off with an atmospheric start this weekend at Hallgreen Castle in Inverbervie as four local artists are hosting a Christmas Art Exhibition.
It opens tomorrow (Friday), and will continuing on Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 6pm each day.
There will be a private view event tomorrow evening from 6 until 9pm when guests will be entertained by live music and festive cheer.
The Gourdon Girls were formed following the success of the first Gourdon Art Fair earlier this year.
Jacky Niven, one of the artists and founder of the Mearns Creative Community Fund (formerly the Creative Community Good Fund,) said: “As artists, our styles and artworks are all very different, which means there will be something for everyone,”
The group also supports and is supported by the fund which provides finance and opportunities for creative activities in the Mearns.
She added: “If you are looking for something original to fill your Christmas list, or just wish to view the artworks and enjoy some festive cheer, a warm welcome awaits.”
