Kincardine and Mearns stopped to pay tribute to the fallen this past week as Remembrance events were held throughout the area.
Remembrance Sunday passed with events happening all throughout Kincardine and Mearns such as parades, services and wreath-laying taking place.
Pupils at the local schools were also involved with the a giant poppy made by Mill O’Forest, Carronhill and Forest View as well as pupils of Dunnottar Primary visiting the war memorial on Tuesday to pay their espects.
Scouts and Guides were also involved in Auchenblae on Sunday as they led a walk to the war memorial on Gilbert’s Hill to lay the village poppy wreath.
A march was also organised in Stonehaven as cadets and standard bearers marched to St James Church for the Remembrance service where a two-minute silence was held before heading to the war memorial to lay wreaths.
