Kinneff pupils entertain parents

The Parent Council hosted an enjoyable evening at Kinneff School during the last week of term.

Pupils provided a variety of entertainment throughout the evening which included each class singing a Scottish song before everyone joined together to sing The Skye Boat song.

Charlie McKay then gave a wonderful rendition of ‘Scotland The Brave on his clarinet.

The highlight of the evening, however, must surely have been the annual poetry competition which saw each pupil perform a Scottish poem to the audience.

The evening concluded with teas, coffees and a variety of games which were led by parents.

The school and Parent Council would like to thank Mrs S Foulkes for judging the competition, parents for providing homebakes and supporting the children in learning the poems and to all who attended – it really was a splendid evening.
