A Laurencekirk builder has scooped a prestigious Master Builder of the Year Award, taking the prize for Best New Home in Scotland.
Peterkin Homes Ltd., was chosen by the region’s judges to win the prize and will now go through to compete in the national finals.
The national winners of the 12th Master Builder of the Year Awards will be announced by TV presenter and architecture enthusiast Charlie Luxton, who will present the accolades at a ceremony at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London on February 18, 2015.
Gordon Nelson, FMB service director for Scotland said: “The Master Builder of the Year Awards give clients the opportunity to celebrate a job well done and to say thank you to their builder.
“For the building industry it is an opportunity to celebrate all that is good about small local builders and their importance to the recovering UK economy.
“Time and time again we have been impressed with just how far these builders go to ensure their client is happy.’’
