A local disability charity recently held a fundraising stall at the Feein’ Market in Stonehaven on Saturday June 1.
The staff and a person supported by Inspire from the charity’s Carronhall service in Stonehaven organised the stall, with a variety of gifts on sale including the popular Inspire Soaps product range. The proceeds raised at the stall on the day will go towards funding various fundraising requests within the north east charity.
Zoë Barbour, Fundraising and Events Officer at Inspire, tells more: “These events are great for us as it allows us to build up relationships in the local community and tell people about the work we do to support people with learning disabilities and additional support needs.
“The Feein’ Market is one of Stonehaven’s biggest events and for us to be able to promote what we do here was a great opportunity to show a large amount of people in the community our work.”
The charity itself, Inspire, empower the life choices of children, young people and adults with learning disabilities and additional support needs in north east Scotland. They currently offer a range of over 50 services including residential services, day services, holiday activity schemes, and training for employment initiatives.
