Portlethen “forgotten” by Aberdeenshire Council

RESIDENTS in Portlethen claimed at a public meeting last week that they had been forgotten about after Aberdeenshire Council announced last year that they had no plans to build a promised new primary school in the town.

Future of the beach toilets is unclear

Vandalism at the toilets on the beach front at Stonehaven was so bad last year that the Community COuncil had to close them a month early as the writing on the walls was so bad they “wouldn’t want families seeing it.”

Councillors “had no choice” over hotel
