Stonehaven Art Club, which turns 40 this year, kicked off its annual exhibition this past weekend at the local Town Hall.
The exhibition, held in the Upper Town Hall, opened to the public last Saturday and will continue daily from 10am - 5pm until this Sunday, August 3.
The special opening night was held for guests with wine and canapes to celebrate 40 years of the club.

The original members received a small keepsake of the occasion.
This year there will be a Peoples Choice Award specially crafted and donated by Mearns Art House.
There are over 100 original works from local artists for sale.
