Fettercairn Distillery is helping Caledonian Railway’s event “The Railway Pirates” – by providing some of its famous whisky.
The event, which takes place on Sunday, will see Arbroath’s Abbey Theatre Club bring the golden age of piracy to the tourist attraction.
Taking place during Angus Heritage Week, the event aims to make history more fun and engaging for children and there will be a grisly insight into the life of pirates during their golden age.
Volunteers said: “We’re grateful to Fettercairn Distillery for helping us with props for the pirate dockyard. It’s great to see businesses in the area helping out groups like ours.
“This is not the first time the railway has welcomed the distillery’s help and we’re sure it’ll put the wind in our sails for this weekend’s Pirate day”
