A Stonehaven and District community councillor has urged the public to further the debate about future retail outlets through them.
The SDCC returned after a three month absence, holding their first public meeting since reforming in August.
Community councillor Knud Christensen said: “There has been a lot of debate recently about a supermarket and the retail future of Stonehaven and I would urge people to use the community council to further the debate.
‘‘Thc community council is still forming our views on the matter and this will happen as we take extensive consultation with groups and the community in Stonehaven.”
The next meeting of the Stonehaven and District Community Council is Tuesday, September 9, at the Invercarron Resource Centre at 7pm.
