Fettercairn School Gardening club paid a visit to Beechwood Services this past week to get a greenhouse for the school.

The schools gardening club wrote to Beechwood Services in Fourdon last month with the company keen to get involved and donating a greenhouse for the school and will also erect the structure.

Sarah Donald a partner at Beechwood Services told the Mearns Leader how they were thrilled the children were interested and happy to donate the polycarbonate greenhouse.

She said: “It is always good to see the children involved and was show them that you can grow anything and can have a lot fun at the same time.”

The children were also presented with a petunia bulb by the company to get them started.
