The happy ever after fairytale continues for Storybook Glen after the attraction was awarded four stars by Visit Scotland.
The Maryculter-based attraction wowed the judges with praise gaining the attraction an extra star from the tourism body.
Hundreds of life size characters, in the forms of statues, populate the 28-acre site.
But not everything at Storybook Glen is so static with a real-life Old McDonald’s Farm delighting children with real animals.
VisitScotland Regional Director, Philip Smith, said: “We are delighted to have awarded Storybook Glen four-star Visitor Attraction status.
“These four stars have been awarded as result of the ongoing hard work and investment made by the team at Storybook Glen.
“Regions, such as Aberdeenshire, need a mix of attractions to cater for a range of visitors. We welcome specialist attractions in that mix and Storybook Glen is certainly is a great experience for the whole family to enjoy.”
Jackie Liddel, manager, said: ‘‘People love getting out with a lot of fresh air and the kids love everything to see and do.
“I’m amazed by the amount of visitors that come- we’re on our third generation of some families!
‘‘Hopefully we will get as good a summer as last year!”
