Mearns Camera Club held their annual portfolio competition at their regular meeting in the Community Centre on Monday, November 25.
For the purposes of the competition, members had to submit five images with a common theme or purpose.
There could be five digital or five print images, but not a mixture of both.
Each member introduced their portfolio and discussed it with the members present who then voted at the end for the best one.
There was an interesting range of images on display and some good interaction with the audience.
The overall winner was Russell Adams with five images taken on the same day at the Birks Of Aberfeldy.
Runner-up was Brian Doyle with five abstract seascape prints, and third was Pat Copner with a series of black and white images taken at a Carlisle Horse Fair.
