The Out of School Club caters for 48 Children for a Breakfast Club and After School Care weekly
 and is also open Daily during the Holidays and in Service Days. The popular Club is run from the Mearns Community Centre
and is meantime under threaten of closure by the Aberdeenshire Council when the New Academy Community Campus opens in August
