Stonehaven Hortus appeal
Stonehaven & District Horticultural Society needs your support. The long established local group which is involved in providing a wide range of events, aimed at those interested in gardening, are currently experiencing difficulties in filling a number of key committee positions.
Without the necessary support it is felt that the extensive programme of events such as the Spring and Summer Garden Competitions, Spring and Summer Shows and the evening guest talks are at risk of being cancelled. A rallying call goes out to all members and also those who may have an interest in gardening to lend their support.
With a view to resolving the situation and determining the future of the Society a special extraordinary meeting of the Society is scheduled to be held on Thursday January 17 at 7.30 pm at the Invercarron Resource Centre.
