Made in the Mearns is set to return for the third year running, inviting everyone to visit and showcase their talents in Laurencekirk.
The event for lovers of crafts and tasty bakes, or with a love for anything handmade. will take place in the village’s Masonic Hall on September 13.
With categories such as ‘Cushy Number,’ ‘Bling-a-Ding’ and ‘Love is like Lemons’ there is something for all levels of crafter and bakers.
It includes a children’s section where ages P7 (aged 11- 12) and below can join in the fun and revel in discovering that hidden flair.
Mhorag Dick, one of the event’s organisers, said: “The standard of entries last year was fantastic and the judges were bowled over by the skills demonstrated.
‘‘It’s inspiring to see that so many individuals are encouraged to participate and I can’t wait to see this year’s talent.”
Proceeds from the event will be going towards various chosen local charities, having helped Brighter Bervie, The Laurencekirk Grampian Cardiac Rehabilitation Association and The Laurencekirk Scout Group in the past.
Entry forms are available from Laurencekirk Library, Mearns Community Centre and Charles Michie Chemist.
