Members wanted for Stonehaven Town Partnership

A membership campaign is being organised by Stonehaven Town Partnership in advance of its forthcoming AGM.

The Partnership’s Company Secretary, David Fleming, launching the campaign said that “There are a large number of projects that the people of Stonehaven would like to progress, and we need to ensure that everyone can feel involved, and play their part.

“We have about half the organisations in the Town in membership and we would very much like to see that proportion increase. Now is the time, just before the AGM on 22nd November, to make sure your organisation’s voice is heard.”

Stonehaven Town Partnership is set up to further the economic prosperity, tourism, sustainability and welfare of the town.

Its scope of work is increasing steadily. After the successful creation of the Stonehaven Town Hall Trust, recent projects include the Asset Transfer of the Queen Elizabeth Caravan Park, the re-opening of the Tolbooth Museum, and the proposed Business Improvement District.

Any organisation in the Town can join, and membership is free. Contact David Fleming on 01569 767200 for full details.
