Domino’s Pizza will be sparking a series of cheesy grins across a local town this week, as it announces the opening of its first store in the area on June 30 – delivering 25 new jobs for locals.

Domino’s is looking to recruit locally for pizza chefs, customer service staff and delivery drivers for it’s new store in Portlethen.

In addition to serving up new career opportunities, the pizza brand is marking the new store opening with a Facebook competition calling for Portlethen’s best cheesy grin.

Domino’s is encouraging local residents to post a selfie at the new store on June 30, which will be located at Unit 3, Hillside Road, Portlethen, using the hashtag #DominosPortlethen to be in with a chance of winning the ultimate ‘Big Night In’ entertainment package.

The local with the best cheesy pose will get to make the most of their downtime, receiving a Sony PlayStation 4 console, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, a NOW TV Entertainment 3 Month Pass, as well as a whole host of hot, fresh pizzas for family and friends to feast on.

Domino’s Regional Manager, Ben Wood, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our doors to the people of Portlethen and what better way to get to know the local community than by asking them to come down to the store and give us a big cheesy grin. It’s a great way for us to meet our new neighbours and we hope they enjoy posing with their hot, fresh pizza.”

“In terms of recruitment, we’re keen to hear from applicants in the local area who may be looking to develop new skills, or who are in search of a second job. The right team player will show that they can deliver exceptional customer service, and demonstrate integrity, honesty and reliability, as well as having a real passion for freshly made pizza.”

The pizza maker has already pledged to open 65 new stores across the UK and Ireland this year, with 800 jobs served up in Scotland alone.

Those interested in a position at the store should send their CV to recruitment@themsggroup.com, with Portlethen as the email subject.
